Clavoton 1g - trihydrate 875 mg and clavulanic acid 125mg
Composition: in 1 tablet – Amoxicillin trihydrate 875 mg and clavulanic acid 125mg.
Pharmacotherapeutic group: Combinations of penicillins, including beta-lactamase inhibitors.
Indications: Clavoton is indicated for the treatment of the following infections:
- Upper respiratory tract infections (as well ENT organ infections), including recurrent tonsillitis, acute bacterial sinusitis, otitis media)
- Lower respiratory tract infections, including exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, lobar pneumonia and bronchopneumonia
- Urinary tract infections, including cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, infection of female genital organs, gonorrhea
- Infections of skin and soft tissue, including cellulites
- Bone and joint infections, including osteomyelitis
- Odontogenic infection, including periodontitis, odontogenic maxillary sinusitis, severe dental abscess with spreading cellulitis
- Other mixed infections (including septic abortion, puerperal sepsis, intra-abdominal sepsis) within the sequential therapy
- Prevention of infections in surgical interventions
- Animal bites
- Infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to amoxicillin may be treated with the drug Clavoton as amoxicillin is one of its active ingredients.

Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to the active substances, to any penicillin or to any other component of drug

- History of jaundice/hepatic impairment due to amoxicillin/clavulanic acid
Use with precautions in case of:
- History of hypersensitivity to penicillins
- Pre-existing renal insufficiency
- Pregnancy and lactation
Storage: Store at temperature not exceeding 25 ° C, in a dry place.
Packing: Blisters with 14 (2 x 7) f/c tablets in cardboard box along with a leaflet.
