Composition: In 1 vial – Ceftriaxone 1g.
Pharmacotherapeutic group: III generation cephalosporin. Broad spectrum antibiotic.
Indications:
Inpatient practice:
- Severe infections caused by bacteria susceptible to ceftriaxone, including meningitis excluding those with Listeria monocytogenes
- Disseminated Lyme's disease
- Perioperative prevention of infections.
Outpatient practice:
- Continuation of treatment started in the hospital
- Severe infections of lower respiratory tracts
- Severe infections of urinary tracts or urinary infections caused by resistant germs
- Emergency before hospitalization in case of suspicion of purpura fulminans.
